    Money on My Mind: Changes in My Life | Annie

    We go through changes in our lives that require us to reassess what we want to spend our money on. For me there have been two changes: investing in my mental health and this three month US road trip. I don't spend money on mental health, but recently I realized I needed help. Also with our road trip coming up, money will leaving my bank account a lot quicker than I'm used to. I sat down and looked at how to manage my expenses so I wouldn't overspend.

    Money on My Mind: Saving Money While Traveling | Annie

    February was a good month! I spent a lot of time with family over Chinese New Year, eating at home and playing mahjong. I even won some money! The rest of the month was pretty uneventful until the end of the month when I went on a long weekend trip down south to Chiayi and Tainan. Posts about those cities will come out soon! In the meantime, take a look at my expenses this month and share some things I did to save money on my travels.

    Money on My Mind: Offsetting Surprise Expenses | Juliet

    I'm glad I stayed home in California for about 2.5 weeks cause it relieved stress off of my wallet. Thank heavens for parents, right? Towards the end of December 2018, money was on the top of my mind. I think it was because I was so close to being home that I didn't want to cook anymore, which meant paying for food, but I also did not want to spend money. First world problems, I know.

I go through phases where I’ll be really frugal and only spend on the necessities to spending more on things I want without too much thought.
